Soury plant- Selkhup Don.

This wild plant is called " SELKHUP DON" by the Kukis of the Northeast India. 

They are found in the Koubru hill ranges of Manipur state , India. It grows well in wet forest.

 The stems of this plant is edible. They can be eaten raw. Its taste is sour. The juice of its stem can be extracted to make vinegar.
